Here is the H C G Diet Plan

We suggest that you follow Dr. Simeons' Protocol with strictness, trying not to improve on what he found to be successful.  If you can follow the plan exactly and give up comfort foods for 23 days, you will lose pounds and inches.  Cheating, even a tiny bit, will add weight to you the next day, because your system is saturated with around 2000 calories of your own released body fat, thus adding more than 500 calories or adding fat or starch will trigger fat storage. 

It is important to drink at least 2 quarts of water per day.

What is the H C G Diet?

Most people following the hCG Diet can expect to lose an average of 1/2  to 1 pound per day.  The hCG Diet is used in conjunction with a very low calorie diet.  This very low calorie diet (VLCD) can be maintained for the duration of the treatment, because the hCG allows the body to release around 2000 calories of one's own abnormal body fat to be utilized as energy.  That is the magic of hCG.  Your body then lets go of the stored fat in the belly and back-side, back of arms, inner thighs.... double chin..... but keeps the needed fat layer under the skin for support & protection. 

When one successfully completes a 23 day round of treatments and follows the 6 weeks of maintenance, the hypothalamus will re-set to a new set point, allowing the person to eat normally without gaining weight.  Subsequent rounds may follow if more weight loss is desired.

hCG Diet is divided into phases. Phase I consists of preparing your body by cleansing & detoxifying.  Phase II is the actual diet and Phase III is the maintenance.

Phase I - Cleansing or Detoxifying

Some people who have been eating a healthy diet without a lot of additives & preservatives can bypass phase I.  Others who have consumed years of food additives & chemicals may need to detoxify with adrenal support and colon cleanses.

Phase II - hCG Diet

This is the actual diet phase which consists of 23 days of hCG treatments in conjunction with a very low calorie diet.  The first 2 days of the protocol entails eating as much high fat foods as can be consumed called loading.  This consists of butter, cream, ice cream, cheese, high fat meat.  Doing this will replenish the normal fat stores in the body that have been depleted by previous dieting.

If a person is doing well and not feeling hungry after 23 days of hCG dieting, one can go on to a 40 day course.  There is a chance that immunity to the hCG will occur during that time, and one would need to end and go on to the maintenance phase.

Phase III - Stabilize & Maintain

This is an important step in the hCG Diet.  Once you have lost your weight, you will need to stabilize, this means keeping your weight within 2 lbs of your last injection weight.  This also means weighing yourself daily so you can make a correction if your weight goes up.

The best way to stabilize is to follow Dr. Atkins low carbohydrate plan, by doubling your protein intake, adding a good amount of healthy fats like butter, cream & cheese and by keeping your carbohydrate intake to 20 grams a day.  No starches, No sugar

Breakfast:

Tea or coffee in any quantity without sugar. Only one tablespoonful of milk allowed in 24 hours. Saccharin or Stevia may be used.  If you are hungry in the morning, one of your fruits may be eaten


Lunch:

1.   3.5 ounces of veal, beef, chicken breast, fresh white fish, lobster, crab, or shrimp. All visible fat must be carefully removed before cooking, and the meat must be weighed raw. It must be boiled or grilled without additional fat. Salmon, eel, tuna, herring, dried or pickled fish are not allowed, too high in fat.

2.   One type of vegetable only to be chosen from the following: spinach, chard, chicory, beet-greens, green salad, tomatoes, celery, fennel, onions, red radishes, cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage.  Leafy salad with lemon juice for the dressing.

3.  One bread stick (grissino) or one Melba toast. Must be fat free, no sugar added.

4.  An apple, or a handful of strawberries or one-half grapefruit, unless eaten for breakfast.

Dinner :

The same four choices as lunch.
